CCS connects all aspects of our education to the natural world. We are lucky enough to have been the recipient of a generous donation from Teich Gardening Systems of an outdoor planting garden that is 100% environmentally responsible.
Teich School Garden Systems are specially designed to enrich the academic and healthy living experiences of children at school. The garden features wide walkways to accommodate large numbers of young gardeners, as well as planting beds of varying depths to permit children and their teachers to experiment with a wide range of flowers and vegetables. Our garden is fully handicapped accessible to permit everyone to participate fully in all aspects of the gardening experience. The planting beds are raised and are filled with 100% organic soil.
