Tuition, fees, and financial aid

All amounts listed are for the 2007/2008 school year.

Tuition is $16,000.  CCS offers a payment plan for which a finance charge of $650 is charged.

A graduated Buidling Fee is assessed for each student depending upon their grade (from $1,200 per kindergarten student to $0 per 6th grade student). The New Family Fee is included in the Building Fee.

The Annual Trip Fee is $250 per student. This fee covers the cost of chartering buses for field trips, park and museum fees, activity tickets, etc.

CCS has a vigorous Financial Aid program based on need. Nevertheless, funds are limited. All families seeking financial aid must complete a financial aid application which is available upon request. CCS does not discriminate based upon race, gender, religion, ethnicity or sexual orientation.

CCS families can now submit Financial Aid applications online at PFS Online. The processing system is open to accept applications for the 2007-08 Academic Year. Families should also visit the NAIS website where they can download and print valuable resources such as the Business/Farm statement, Additional School Request form, Spanish-version PFS worksheet, and the newly redesigned Family Guide to Financial Aid. All these forms are available at www.nais.org/go/sssforms and the online application is available at www.sss.ets.org for direct access to the PFS Online website.

After School Care (3:15 to 5:45 p.m.) is available to all families as long as there is a demand for this service by a minimum number of participants. The occasional use rate is $6.00 per hour (billed monthly). There is a flat rate for regular participants (unlimited usage) for $150 per month. Monthly fees are prepaid by the 10th of each month.

Before School Care is typically not available, but children are welcome to arrive after 8:30 a.m. where supervision will be provided until the beginning of the school day at 8:45 a.m.

Because tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a CCS education, CCS sponsors several Fundraising activities throughout the year which generate additional income for the school’s operating budget. A few of these activities are our Annual Event (Spring), Jog-a-thon (Spring), and our Annual Giving Campaign (October). CCS is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization and all gifts to CCS are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law. All families at CCS are encouraged to volunteer at, attend, and financially support these endeavors to the benefit of our entire community.

All fees are subject to an annual increase as determined by the Board of Directors.
